As former president of Legacy Data Corp, a pioneer in advanced data storage technology, John travelled and fished around the world. After retiring, John became an avid tournament angler and fishing community personality.
In 2007, John founded Time on the Water Canada, the highest traffic online media presents in the Canadian fishing industry. He has written or written about in all popular magazines and his instructional videos and underwater video content has been featured in many magazines, TV shows, and online publications.
John lives on Lake Simcoe and has become one of Ontario’s most popular personalities.
